Monica and Ali's Two Part PAFA Wedding

Navigating the covid pandemic while planning a wedding was challenging, but Monica and Ali made their ceremony and celebration work perfectly for themselves and their guests. They decided on a two part celebration, so they kept their ceremony small and intimate with just their closest families and then saved their big celebration for a little later on when restrictions were eased and people felt safe gathering together again.

Their ceremony had elements of a traditional Persian wedding, with a Sofreh Aghd, and was held in PAFA’s historic landmark building which made their celebrations so personal and special. PAFA’s incredible space created an amazingly unique location for a wedding and is so much fun to photograph!

Part Two of their celebration was full of family, friends, and laughter. It ended with a dance party and an amazing cheese sample and fruit cake. It was all a beautiful celebration that was worth the wait! As challenging as planning a wedding during a pandemic is, these two navigated the challenges with ease.

I’ve combined a bit of both events into this post because, while it was two separate days, it truly felt like one big celebration!
