Originally featured on Ruffled, we were inspired by the idea of bucking the traditional wedding morning and instead spending a cozy, and intimate morning together... bride and groom enjoying a slow breakfast and getting ready together :) We love when couples have unique ideas and decide they want to have their wedding THEIR way, regardless of tradition, and this shoot was a reflection of that philosophy.

Shot last year on a bitterly cold day in March, this elopement inspiration will have you all wanting to spend a warm weekend away with your favorite person. Together with the insanely talented team who is Heart & Dash, we were able to design an incredibly special day...capturing it was the easy part. The florals, designed by the amazing Devon & Pinkett, were the perfect color palette pulling together the subtle hints of citrus.

Julie from Sandpiper & Co. not only did the gorgeous calligraphy, but also modeled for the shoot with her husband Shane. No big deal!
