A Year in Review: 2021

We had such an amazing, strange, and incredible year in 2021. It was full of wonderful couples, families, love, joy and laughter. Despite the underlying dampness that Covid-19 put upon the year, every one of our couples pulled through the disappointments and managed to find much joy in their day. We were so honored to be able to celebrate with so many amazing people who let us laugh with them, be creative in our photos, and share in all the excitement of their celebrations.

We haven’t put together a year in review for a while and I thought this past year in particular was an important one to reflect on. There was so much thrown at our couples and the wedding industry in general this year: masking, vaccines, reduced guest counts, rescheduling and cancellations, to name a few. Yet every wedding and engagement session we captured showcased our couples happiness and love and resilience. We are so grateful to have had the most amazing people to work with through this wild ride and we wanted to share all of them. It was beyond fun to look back over the year and remember all of these shoots and it’s getting us excited for 2022! These are just some snippets from each shoot we did (I REALLY hope I didn’t miss any!!) and it doesn’t come close to covering all of the awesomeness that 2021 brought to our cameras. I will definitely be journaling a lot this year to showcase many of these weddings and sessions in full in the coming months.
